CNC Milling

Prismatic geometry with flat features is milled: the part is held once and the cutter travels to each feature.

The part will also need

  • Low Volume CNC Machining

At this quantity the tooling and programming are charged over relatively few parts, so the honest comparison between suppliers is the batch total rather than the unit price.

Where this part is likely to cost more than it looks

  • Every pocket and slot has an internal corner whose radius cannot be smaller than the cutter that made it. If the drawing shows a sharp internal corner, the choice is a larger radius or an EDM operation - the corner does not exist as drawn.
  • Threads cannot run to the bottom of a blind hole: the tap needs runout for the chip and the lead. If the drawing needs full thread to the bottom, the hole either deepens or a different thread-forming method is used.

Guidance from the traits you select, linked to the process pages that describe them. It is not a capability assessment of your drawing and it is not a quotation - the process is confirmed by an engineer reading the part.
