Precision machining of copper and brass alloys. C360 brass, C110 copper, C145 tellurium copper. Fittings, valves, electrical components, decorative hardware. ±0.005mm tolerance. Excellent surface finish.
Copper and brass machine differently from steel or aluminium. Brass C360 is one of the most machinable materials available — it produces short, broken chips, takes a beautiful surface finish, and doesn't wear tooling aggressively. Pure copper (C110) is the opposite — it's gummy, produces long stringy chips, and work-hardens if you let the tool rub.
We machine both regularly across our turning and milling cells. Typical parts include brass fittings, valve components, electrical connectors, heat sink elements, and decorative hardware.
