Precision Engineering for
Critical Applications

We started in 2005 with two CNC milling machines in a 400 sqm rented workshop. Today the shop runs 40+ CNC machines in a 3,500 sqm facility in Xi'an, with our own metrology lab and a quality system certified to ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D and IATF 16949.

Every quote is reviewed by an engineer before it goes out — not generated by an algorithm. You get DFM feedback, a realistic price, and a lead time we can actually keep. Production only starts after you approve the first article.

DFM analysis: wall-thickness and tool-radius flags on a machined bracket
DFM note: tool-radius relief on internal corner — saves a setup, holds the tolerance
Engineering Support

Your drawing gets a machinist’s review, not a bot’s.

Every quote starts with an engineer looking at your CAD. DFM notes in writing — tolerance risks, tooling issues, and the cheaper way to make the same part. It costs nothing and usually saves you money.

Why PrecisionIndParts

What sets us apart as your precision manufacturing partner.

Metrology in-house

Two Zeiss CMMs, optical comparator and surface roughness tester on the shop floor. Parts are measured here, not sent out — so inspection doesn’t add a week to your lead time.

Engineers, not a chat bot

The person quoting your part is the same person who can tell you why the wall thickness needs to change. DFM feedback is specific, not a checklist.

Shipping that works

FedEx and DHL every week to the US, EU and Middle East. Packing lists, commercial invoices and material certs prepared before the parts leave the building.

What Our Clients Say

From buyers and engineers we work with regularly. Names withheld by agreement.

"We had a flight-control bracket that two other shops quoted at 6 weeks. PrecisionIndParts came back with a DFM note that cut two operations, and the first batch shipped in about 4 weeks. The FAI was accepted on the first submission."

Senior Buyer

US aerospace Tier 1 supplier

"We use them for surgical instrument components in 316L. The tolerance on the collet bore is ±0.005mm, and the CMM report ships with every lot. Over six months of batches our incoming inspection has stayed at reduced sampling."

Director of Operations

German medical device company

"They hob our helical gears at AGMA 10. The CMM tooth-form report comes with every shipment, and delivery has been on time for two years. Their engineer answers our design-change questions during UK working hours."

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers from the shop floor.

What is your standard machining tolerance?
±0.005mm (0.0002") on most features. Down to ±0.002mm on request for critical dimensions. If your drawing genuinely needs it, we will quote it honestly — if it does not, we will say so.
What certifications do you hold?
ISO 9001:2015 (Bureau Veritas), AS9100D (PRI) for aerospace, IATF 16949 (TÜV SÜD) for automotive, and NADCAP for NDT and heat treat. Scanned copies sent on request, originals available for audit.
What is your typical lead time?
Prototypes (1–50 pcs): 2–3 weeks. Production: 4–8 weeks depending on complexity and quantity. Expedited runs at 5–7 days are possible for simple parts — we will tell you up front if your part qualifies.
Do you offer DFM feedback?
Yes, on every quote, in writing. Our engineers review the CAD before pricing and flag tolerance risks, tooling issues and cheaper ways to make the same part. It costs you nothing and usually saves you money.
What file formats do you accept?
STEP (.stp/.step), IGES (.igs/.iges), DXF and PDF. STEP is preferred for 3D geometry. A 2D drawing with the critical tolerances called out is a big help — not required, but it avoids guesswork.
