Inconel CNC Machining

CNC machining of Inconel 625, 718, and 792 superalloys. Turbine components, exhaust systems, chemical processing. 5-axis DMG MORI capacity. NADCAP approved processes.

Inconel is where most CNC shops draw the line. It's tough on tooling, generates insane heat at the cutting zone, and work-hardens fast if you let the tool rub instead of cut.

We've been machining Inconel since 2012 — primarily for aerospace turbine components and oil & gas downhole tools. It's not a material you learn overnight. We've settled on CBN inserts for finishing, ceramic for roughing, and through-spindle coolant at 70 bar minimum. Feeds and speeds are dialed in per part geometry, not guessed from a chart.

We hold ±0.01mm on Inconel 718 consistently. Surface integrity is verified after machining — no microcracks, no recast layer, no thermal damage.
