CNC Machining for Australian Companies
Precision machined parts from our Xi\u2019an factory to Australia in 5-7 business days. Mining, oil & gas, and industrial equipment buyers across NSW, WA and Queensland.
Why Australian Buyers Work With Us
Mining-grade materials
Duplex stainless, Inconel and hardened steels are daily stock, not special orders. Material certs trace back to the mill.
Wear and spare parts
High-volume wear parts and one-off spares from the same shop. We hold drawings and can re-run parts years later.
DHL 5-7 days
Weekly consolidated shipments. Customs brokerage included. AUD quotes available.
Time-zone overlap
2-3 hours overlap with Sydney and Perth working hours — enough for a live call when a drawing needs discussion.
Why Australian engineering teams buy machined parts from Xi’an
For a workshop in Melbourne or a mining-equipment supplier in Perth the numbers work: a machined part that costs AUD 180–280 in small-batch local production typically lands at AUD 60–110 from us, freight and GST implications included. Prototypes of 1–50 pieces still save 40–50%; production runs above 500 pieces save 45–60%. Australian automation, mining and medtech companies routinely send drawings to Xi’an.
Price is half of it. The other half: tolerance capability, documentation, and a technical answer at 9 p.m. AEST. Our shop runs 40+ CNC machines, in-house CMM with NIST-traceable calibration, and engineers who answer RFQs with DFM notes instead of a price list.
Tolerances and drawing standards
Australian packages typically use AS 1100 drawing practice with ISO 2768 general tolerances and ASME Y14.5 or ISO 1101 GD&T. We read both conventions daily. Standard tolerance ±0.05 mm; ±0.01 mm on critical features; ±0.005 mm on ground diameters.
CMM strategy follows the drawing — datums first, then derived features. Every production order ships with inspection report, material certificate and CoC. AS9102 FAIR for aerospace work.
Materials ordered from Australia
Australian orders skew toward: 6061-T6 and 5083 aluminium (marine), 304/316 stainless, 17-4PH, Inconel 625/718 for oil & gas, titanium 6Al-4V, and PEEK for medical. Send the AS/NZS or ASTM designation and we confirm stock before quoting.
Finishes: as-machined Ra 1.6, Ra 0.8 for sealing faces, hard anodize, passivation for medical-grade stainless. If a finish cannot be guaranteed, we flag it before the quote.
Lead times, customs and time zones
Xi’an is two to three hours behind Australian Eastern time. Send a drawing Friday afternoon and we process it Monday morning — your Monday. Prototypes 10–15 working days, production 3–5 weeks, then 4–6 days via FedEx/DHL, customs handled.
We quote EXW/FOB Xi’an; DDP available — full landed cost before approval. Payment T/T, PayPal or L/C; invoices in AUD, USD or EUR; proforma invoice for first orders. Project managers answer around the clock and schedule calls into Australian business hours.
