What Makes Oil & Gas Different
Oil and gas machining is a separate category from aerospace or medical. Not because the tolerances are tighter — they're not — but because the consequences of a failure are different. A valve component that fails in a gas processing plant doesn't just waste a part. It causes a shutdown, a safety incident, and potentially an environmental release.
The paperwork reflects that. Every pressure-containing component needs 100% material traceability back to the mill heat lot. Thread forms are gauged individually, not sampled. NDT — penetrant, ultrasonic, or magnetic particle — is required on critical features. And the certification package that ships with the parts is as important as the parts themselves.
We've been supplying oil and gas components since 2015. Our NADCAP accreditation covers the NDT methods this sector requires. Our quality system is structured to meet API Q1 requirements, and we maintain NACE MR0175 compliance for sour service materials.
