Tolerances and drawing standards
Indian packages follow IS 10714 (ISO 1101) GD&T with ISO 2768 general tolerances. Standard machining tolerance ±0.05 mm; ±0.01 mm on critical features; ±0.005 mm ground diameters.
CMM reports and material certificates are issued in English — no translation lag for your export paperwork. Every production order ships with inspection report, material cert and CoC.
Materials ordered from India
Indian orders skew toward: 17-4PH and 15-5PH, Inconel 718, 4140/4340, 6061-T6, and stainless 304/316 for instrumentation. We also machine PEEK and PTFE for process industries. Send the grade designation and we confirm stock before quoting.
Finishes: as-machined Ra 1.6, Ra 0.8 for sealing faces, anodize, passivation. We flag any finish we cannot guarantee before the quote.
Lead times, customs and time zones
Xi’an is two and a half hours ahead of IST. Prototypes 10–15 working days, production 3–5 weeks, then 3–4 days by air to major Indian cities via DHL/FedEx, customs handled. We also quote sea freight for large-volume production to Nhava Sheva.
